Lipan Indians 40 - Graford 36
Tied at half-time, Up 1 end of 3rd Qtr. Kyle Stephens leads with 17 pts.
Next - Iowa Park being played in Jacksboro.
Report filed by Coach Chandler: The Boys played extremely good defense against Graford last Tuesday. Very similar to the first 3 quarters to the first (Graford) game, but the last quarter remained close this time. Kyle Stephens really hurt the Jackrabbits defense scoring 19 points, and Cory Williams and Wesley Holtsford took care of the rebounding. Very clutch freethrows by Derek Brabson at the game to seal the victory. Indians are now 8-3.

Report filed by Coach Humphrey: After digging themselves into another early hole, the Lady Indians led 34-24, midway through the 3rd quarter. With two of Lipan's starters fouled out, Graford snuck away with the win on a buzzer-beating, banked-in three-pointer at the buzzer."Great effort against a team that will win their district. Graford has defeated both Strawn and Gordon, and recently won their own tournament." "The girls are in desperate need of learning HOW to win. 5 of our 7 losses have been by a combined 17 points." "So far, six out of our 10 opponents that we have played will probably make the playoffs and only one is in our same classification. I know that this is going to prepare us for district. I just hope that the girls realize how hard they are playing."
