2010-2011 Varsity Schedules

(Note: With regret, time is not available to blog Lipan Basketball this season. Interest is still high.  Most schools are a few years away from dependable internet posting of team scores. For Lipan, the $45 online edition of the Hood County News is the best source of periodic updates for out of town fans.)

Who knows, but let's say there were 100 avid Lipan basketball fans who subscribe to the online Hood County News since it is the only occasional source of Indian season information. That totals $4,500 just to get delayed scores. (Workers would need to earn $6,000 to end up with $4500!) BUT the coaches and athletic director don't have time or the training to put scores on the LISD website or MaxPreps and they may also be concerned about giving up useful "scouting" information to opponents. Makes a good fan wonder what might be gained by offering a $500 stipend to a National Honor Society student to dependably post final scores on MaxPrep. So, pay a guy or gal $500 to do something useful and educational so the avid Indian fans around the country stay connected. Or those fans can pay $6,000 to get delayed non-cumlative Indian info from a hcnews.com subscriptions. FYI, many of those scattered loyal fans also are paying LISD property taxes on property back in Hood County. Just a thought.
